Well we are three events into the season and we have only had one top time winner. Yes Brian Hobaugh has won all three events so far and this gives him a big lead over all the other compeditors.

Next week in Del Mar we may have to give him a 1 second cone penalty on every run....lol

I'm curious how Sal gets the nod over Steve with that run time?

I'm curious how Sal gets the nod over Steve with that run time?

Probably because Steve was not registered for the event in that car. There can be two drivers however there must be two registrations for the vehicle.

Thanks George. So you're saying unregistered drivers can have timed/posted runs?

Not trying to stir anything up, just curious about the rules. :gguys:

Ron - bad guess on my part. I looked at some photos and there are indeed two registrations on the windshield, so valid question.

the two driver rule this year came about because of situations from last year. if the car is already qualified for a pro status under one driver...it can not be reused or re-qualified for a second pro driver

Brian is pro there for Pops cant qualify for pro in the same car and it doesn't count as a win..it goes to the next fastest driver, unless that person is also using a pro car, and it continues down the list

" you must race the car you qualified pro in and only one pro per qualified car"

Anyone know what was up with the timing system on Saturday?

I ripped off a 56sec run in the rain, but it was never posted and they later stopped printing slips for us.
