I've had this for a while it's still in Wisconsin my buddy is putting a 5.9 Cummings in and then it's getting turned into a shortbox fleetside single wheel truck, going to eventually slam it and make it a true 4 door.

It all sounds good...looks great now.
Nice to see something truly unique, especially since it's got the style of a '68-'72 C10/20/30.

I like it just the way it is.
Maybe a newer Duramax / Allison drivetrain and you'd have a sweet hauler.

Hey telly was it originally a truck and stretched or a burban shortened and bed added?
I have always wanted to do the exact same thing...crew cab....short but but with a D max oh he'll I'd even take it without a motor lol

Yes like that. I have a few pictures of that from sema a few years back. For right now its going to be a bit of a rat. Low with steel wheels and dog dishes.

Yeah it was a burb, I bought it like this its a bit hoaky in places but I stole it so I figured it be easier than starting from scratch and probably never getting it done.
Very cool!
How is the roof? Did the previous owner cut up another truck for the back of the cab?

Nice. I've thought about doing something similar one day. You know, one of those vehicles you build in your head type deals. I think it would work out well to take a suburban and cut the rear roof off and turn it into a bed. Make it like a classic Avalanche is the idea.
Good luck, Telly. I like your ideas on the truck.

Well its alive, runs, drives and stops. Getting the stance worked then its time to get out the roller and add some flat black for now.
