I saw a thread concerning the m parallel wheels on a g body (which is what drew me to this forum) but never saw an answer whether or not they fit on a g body. 1985 oldsmobile cutlass salon to be exact. thanks in advance for any responses.

BMW wheels will fit old school Chevy bolt patterns, but the off sets are really high on them. Depending on the look and fit you want, they may or may not sit right, but all in all....they will bolt on and fit. Also, the hub bore size is different, but you can hub rings to fix that.

They are ugly, horrible rims. Don't use them. If you don't want to listen to me though, Marcus/214 has the right info. Just use washes to figure out the adapters you'll need.

Guys, look at my sig line and the pictures of my car. Jerry/intocarss, also had M-parallels on his camaro. Personally, I think they are fantastic rims to use on a budget build. They are light weight, high quality forged aluminum rims that aren't expensive. BTW, Jerry's old 68 Camaro is actually for sale by its new owner, redefined, in the for sale section.
Adapters are not spacers. Adapters have studs screwed or pressed into them and then the adapters are bolted to your existing hub. There's nothing wrong with using quality adapters. They are more than strong enough. Spacers use the studs on your existing hub and simply slip over spacing out the wheel from the hub. This causes tremendous strain on your studs which is not good.

Now you guys have me confused. I thought they looked good and being light and forged made me buy them thinking for the price i paid what could go wrong? plus they are 18" which would allow me the brake option i wanted.

I was being sarcastic since I have a set on my own car. Sorry if I confused you. They are good rims in my opinion, and I really like mine. You just have to figure out how thick of an adapter you'll need to make them fit your car. For instance, the adapters I use to mount the rims to my car are only 3/4" thick. I'm not sure what Jerry used to mount them to his 68 Camaro. You shouldn't need much more than what I used I bet.
To figure out how thick you need the adapters to be you can maybe use washers to test fit the rim. Just take the spring out of the car so you can move the wheel up and down through the suspension range.
The other method would be to simply measure how much offset or back spacing the rims have and then compare that to what other people have on their 18in rims, whatever brand, that fit the same car. The difference should be how thick of an adapter you'll need. I'm sorry, I don't remember the back spacing or offset for the M-parallels. An example would be that in order to fit 18in rims on the front of your car let's say you need an 18in rim with 4.5 inches of back spacing. If the M-parrallels have 5.5 inches of back spacing you will need a 1 inch thick adapter in order to correctly position the rim.
Does this help?
Also, since you'll need adapters to make the rims fit, have the company make the bolt pattern convert from the GM pattern to the BMW pattern. I believe you have a 5 x 4.75" pattern. The BMW rims are 5 x 120mm.
