Never thought I would like a Ford Falcon. It turned out sweet. Surprise!

I've always liked those falcons. The C pillar and long rear glass makes it look like a small galaxie500.

That waqs a neat car they did. The wheels looked killer on that car and that Boss crate 363 sounded really strong. Got my wheels turning in my head. Uh Oh.

It was a pretty good show. I didnt like the comments they made regarding owning a race car though. (paraphrasing) "Race Cars will take your money, you house, your family..." Thanks Richard. My wife was watching that with me.

The Falcon just got upgraded with a set of our TQ CoilOvers and rear shocks. It will be racing at the USCA event this weekend.

They better change out those toyoR888's.I believe they are alittle to soft.

I heard the only way to become a millionaire with a race car is to start a billionaire.

I can see the losing house, family, friends, fortune, etc with a car project. But as long as you are living within your means and being realistic with your budget/goals there is no reason you can't keep all the above and have a car.

Better to Grip in the Corners - I like my Toyos

The only thing I didn't like about the Falcon was the Front Bumper. It wasn't so much that it was painted White was that while the Back Bumper fit well, the Front kind of stuck out and the ends had a weird angle

Did you see the numbers at the end of the show? Did he really make 25k off of Aaron on it. For some reason I thought they were partners.

The way I understood it they ended up with $50,000 in it, plus the 10% put it at $55,000 for Richard.

I thought it showed something about him making a profit. Must have been another one of the cars.

I think that included the total profit of everything he sold that week. The truck and the 1919 car included.

I don't really get where you guys are going with this.....

I bought a "race car" from Charley for 40 grand
I bought a toterhome and 3 car stacker to haul it in 10 X's the above
I bought a "back up" race car in case car #1 is messed up 1.5 X's the original car
I bought a commercial building to hold all of the above...

Oh -- I forgot the couple engine rebuilds the tranny rebuilds the extra sets of wheels and tires... helmets - suits - shoes - gloves - entry fees - travel costs. But who's counting?

I wish I'd have done this years ago! :>)

Cool car . Been thinking about that color combo for my project.
After hearing I could loose it all , I was ready to open up a thread on the for sale section.

Did anyone recognize the transmission they used in it? ...and did they really just lift it over their heads like that to install it? I liked the car as a vintage racer (as it arrived to their shop) and how they changed it. Love it or hate it they get people watching and talking about cars. I'll be the first to admit searching classifieds yesterday for a Falcon. ha!

Bad ass car but what makes it pro touring? No cup holders man. Its a street legal track car. :peepwall:

and a bargain at 50K to build.

Ditto. But there's nothing wrong with a "street legal track car;" just plan for serious neck cramps when trying to put groceries in behind the seats.

They really sucked some of the character out with all the bling work they did to make it more betterer (f-you, spell check!) than it was. Yeah, I'm a grouch, but I loved this car before the monkeys put their hands on it...

I'm curious to see whether they actually used this car at the USCA thing. Nobody's updated with results, but marketing continues...

I believe they did but think it was exhibition due to sub-200TW tires?

Never met either one in person but know people that have. Its pretty consistant. Aaron is a great talented guy and RR....not much nice to say

I do to. In fact I'm trying to convince the wife we need gold wheels on her white 5gen Camaro.

Nice pics, Herb--one day, maybe mine will look that nice, but I do look forward to seeing the USCA livery applied to all my dents. If Laguna Seca happens again next year, you'll see some lovely contours under those RideTech stickers (I have Konis anyway, not that I'm attached). Thanks for the post!

What? You don't like it when a car frowns? :D

Has nothing to do with anything --- but I have to say that car looked good... cheap - but good - and he was a hell of a nice guy to boot! I'm not sure what I expected - now that Aaron is a big time TV star - but he was in there just being a car guy - so I came away with a whole new impression of him.

HE drove it pretty dang well. Not sure how much experience he has... but he was doing fine and having fun.
