Sorry, I was simply grasping for a positive from your "pos" acronym.

It is road legal?

The way you have the car set-up is very business proper IMO.

Yes it's road legal, and I finally knuckled under and just finished installing carpet and the headliner since I'll be running a few USCA events. I'll still get dinged for no radio, maybe I'll look for an old school battery operated transistor radio and tape it to the dash, I don't believe the rules specify it has to be an automotive radio. :whistling:

Nice Tim! In person your car sounds nastier than most every other car.

I remember when you were hunting for a clutch. The article says Ram. Are you still running that clutch?

Yes, the first one went poof in a few month's and Ram built me new one with the 900 series iron friction material and they last a full season which considering how much abuse the car sees is good in my book.

I like the way you think, no radio in my car either.

Perfect and I believe period correct:

Like button! Maybe I can find one on e bay

I copied this from the design rules;

2 points - Interior electronics - working fuel gauge, horn (audible at 200’), basic
or advanced audio system (proof or evidence of radio delete option is acceptable)
I would think the transistor radio would qualify as basic, heck if nothing it would be good for a few giggles.

-2 points if they ding you for the radio..........however you should get at least 1 spirit point. :D

There's some antique shops nearby that I'd bet have one......if I get a little spare time this week I'll check them out.

I gave up on any kind of sound system in my car,,,it's not like I could hear it over the motor.,,but I have considered putting in something so there is no open hole in the dash.

Smartphones are radios... I'm sure you'd have your phone in the car with you!

One could argue the lack of a radio IS evidence of radio delete option. Just saying'... (My brother is a lawyer).
You could always get a new window sticker made that calls out the radio delete if the transistor radio doesn't work out.
Congrats on the article!
