Any reason a stock OEM Flywheel/Clutch/Pressure Plate would not be a decent budget choice for a stock LS3 376ci engine mated to a T-56 Magnum?
Are the LS3 Camaro & Corvette the same? If not is one more desirable than the other?
Thanks for the info, Jay

Scoggin Dickey Chevy has LS7 clutches with and aluminum flywheel for under $600. If your on a budget they can't be beaten.

Thanks for this info. So this LS7 flywheel has the same crank bolt pattern as the LS3's and is a direct bolt on? Thanks, Jay
Anyone else have experience or input on this setup?

I have an LS7 flywheel/clutch setup on an LS2 from a Trailblazer SS, so I bet the LS3 has the same bolt pattern.

Exactly what I used. Less than 200$ for Camaro LS3 flywheel/clutch on Ebay and used the Magnum. Works fine. I used the Hurst Driveline Hyd T/O brg conversion parts and it bolted up with no fuss and works great.

Thanks for chiming in. Always nice to get multiple opinions/input!

More good news, thanks for adding to this! That is where I purchased my T-56 Mag (Hurst Driveline) and with it, came the TO bearing as you probably have.
Ok, one more question now that it seems as though everyone agrees the LS7 setup will fit an LS3. Is the LS7 setup the same as the LS3? Or is the LS7 a different/better setup to handle the additional hp/trq of the LS7?
Thanks, Jay
