Yep, this issue is great! There's Stuart and his Alumin8r with a shout out to Jody, and Marquez Design. A focus on the Shrifter, Harshman makes it in yet again, a cool blurb about Kris's work in demand at GM and several different renderings, and I see Steve Rupp did some of the writing. All very cool. Congrats to all of you guys.

phr is very funny, sometimes its on time others the mailmen like it so much that they hoard them for awhile to look thru them, then bring them 2 weeks late!! seriously i got mine yesterday but it never shows up in the same week month to month

Damn,

I just got the February issue last week, it will take many weeks before the April-issue arrives here. Certainly something to look forward to, Steve will be a good thing for the Protouring trend at PHR.

Maybe Scott can scan in some pages :fluffy:

That's copyrighted material and I'd rather not burn bridges with PHR. However, I could probably take a digital picture of the layout so you guys can get an idea of how awesome the photography is, but it won't be enough where you can actually read Tony Huntimer's story.

Jonny, I finally got my copy at Safeway last night. It's in a plastic baggie because it's so special.

Scott,I have seen layouts posted online before but it was old stuff.I guess once it gets old its no big deal

Here you go. It's low-res so it forces you guys to go out and pick up a copy.

The photography is stunning. It equals the level of the quality of the car.

Try your local speed shop. If they carry Primedia mags, they usually get their copies a few days before everyone else. I picked one up two days ago but have not had a free minute to read it. Looks good though--and fromm what I hear, the next coupla issues may be even better!!

Congrats to Stuart, Tony H, Steve Rupp, Kris Horton and Johnny (Don't forget, he's one of us) This is the first print exposure for Twist Machine. It's a good time to be a hot rodder. :D

awesome coverage, no doubt about it...but I gotta say, last month they did a story on the Florida company Time Machines' Red 68 charger with the black rear twin stripes...and this month they do a gold one from Time Machines...thing is, these two cars are damn near identical, from the interior, to the stance, the rims and tires. honestly the only real difference I found between the two was the paint scheme, which really wasnt that different. I know Steve from PT.com works over at PHR now, maybe he can tell me whats up. seriously am I right, or is it just me? :willy:

Hey, and I am in there too.. well as a writer.. those were my interview assignments (John found a way to get free work from me)..

I got write the Shrifter deal.. it was fun.

Also, I need to add latteral-g.net to my list of sites to pimp in the mag..

LS1tech.com
Pro-Touring.com
Latteral-g.net

:D

The one think I love about PHR is how commited they/we are to this segment.. Johnny is VERY picky about the cars in the mag. He is one of the hardest working guys at Primedia and his great with a camera.

I am always open to ideas for tech stuff.. after all, I work for you in a way.. and no, I won't fetch you a damn beer!!!!

On the contrary, Twist Machine is now a paying advertiser.
