Along with co-starring in Stripes, he helped write the script.

Better bio of his life...

Harold Ramis wrote or co-wrote and directed a fine list of comedies including Stripes, Groundhog Day, Animal House, Meatballs, and the 2 Analyze This/That movies.

The guy was kind of a comedic genius. RIP.

"Lighten up Francis." from Stripes is one of my all time favorite movie quotes. What a career! So many good classic movies.
