I've been up and down California Route 1 a couple of dozen times in both cars and on a motorcycle. Beautiful road, particularly if you like to drive fast around curves. The only downside is getting stuck behind a Winnebago or twelve. I don't think Route 1 belongs on that list as compared to some of the others.

I'd drive them in a ramp truck.

I grew up in Glenwood Springs, CO not far from Aspen and Highway 82...the first on the list. I can vouch for the pucker factor...

Seriously, I'd like to drive on one of those roads. One more item to the bucket list (it's getting longer)

I've driven that HWY 82 here in Colorado with the state truck and a trailered boat. That rig is a '99 Chevy 1 ton four door dually (aka: ambulance) with a 22 foot Hewes Craft behind it. Yeah, there is a pucker factor .... but it's doable even in the monster rig I drove through there.
