So everyone I talk to says Holley has a 'swap kit' for my '68 Camaro that includes motor mounts, tranny xmember, headers, the whole nine. However, I can never find it on their website. Is this something Holley offers or is it something a seller like Summit or someone puts together?

Are people not really buying full kits? I see brphotrods.com sells everything, anyone love their setup? It's based around a specific oil pan it seems.

If anyone has the part numbers of everything I'd need individually or that 'kit' people are talking about I'd really appreciate it! I think it was even mentioned it came with relocation kit for accessories. (I don't have AC fyi)

Thanks!!

Every major part from engine mounts, transmission crossmember, oil pan, headers and exhaust is offered by Hooker/Holley, but there is no "kit" part number to order as there are far too many possible combinations of parts to be able to stock them all in that manner. If you need help compiling a parts list based on your engine/trans combination and your budget, just send me a PM and I'll be glad to help you out.

Interesting! I've put a parts list together so people can double check my picks. I'll for sure keep an eye out for yours. I'm in no rush to order and this will be a build I take my time with.

Thanks!

You're getting into your swap at a good time as you have many more choices in components/kits than others did just a year ago. You owe it to yourself to check out all your options pertaining to compatibility, fitment and price. If it's of any value to you, you do not have to do any tunnel mods when using the Hooker components to install an LS and T56 (or any GM automatic for that matter) into a 1st-gen F-body with the exception of cutting the hole for the shifter...the 3rd-gen Nova guys are not quite so lucky.

Yup I'm open to whatever quality parts are out there.

I already have a manual, I thought for the T56 swap as long as it's from an F-Body car no cutting was needed even for the shifter. Am I wrong here? I thought that was just for T56 that came out of other body styles.

There is also this kit that someone pointed me towards, anyone have experience with it? http://www.brphotrods.com/products/1st%20gen%20F%20products/index.html

I am also interested in this "kit" when it is available. The Holley Kit has my attention. I do like having options!

Blake, I was on the website the other day and didn't see the kit out yet. Any idea when it's going to be released? BTW, It's for a 69 camaro.

So has anyone utilized the Holley LS parts list for a first gen camaro/firebird? How did everything work out? Where you able to install the T56 without modifying the tunnel and still get the right angle for the driveshaft? I've heard a number of people say the Holley 302-2 oil pan doesn't work with the Ridetech Tru-Turn setup. Can anyone confirm if this is true?

thanks
