Looking at getting some new wheels for my 67 nova,
Bouncing back and forth between forgeline and fikse wheels. I really like the fikse 5S wheel. Who sells them and whats the price range for a set of 17x7 in the front and 17x8s for the back?

I have not had personal experience with Fikse but I have read others have issues getting their wheels in the past.

A good alternative is Formula 43: http://www.formula43.com/

I have seen those, but i didnt think they offered 17x7 , on there site, the smallest size they show is a 18x8.
7" wide is as wide as i can go in the front

Have you considered the Forgeline DS3? MSRP for 17x7 and 17x8 is $1150. Currently running about 4 weeks for 3pc wheels. See: http://www.forgeline.com/products/performance-series-step-lip/ds3-17-18-19-20.html

I have the Fiske 5S and have no issues with them. Although, I bought them in 2006. The shop where my 67 Camaro is located now, there has been several people that wanted to buy my rims. Fikse closed in 2009, but came back again. I think the people that had issues were buying them on group purchase. I seen some recent posts that people haven't had issues with Fikse. You can also buy them direct.

Call them direct.

Agreed.

I believe a while ago they were really struggling with turn around, but have seen a few within the last year that have gotten theirs within 6-8 weeks I believe, which I know is longer than some other wheel companies... but Fikse are pretty sweet, and worth the wait to me.

Yeah its been my favorite wheel (along with Profil5) for years now. Always thought I may change my mind over time or love some new design, but just kept going back to that classic look. I cant wait.

I was told 3 weeks, but like everyone is telling me "expect 4 to 6"

I ended up ordering profile 5s
17x7 and 17x8 with gunmetal centers and polished lip

I accidently chipped the coat while trying to remove the damn center cap. The technipolish finish is very delicate and requires special care

Definitely nice wheels. You'll be impressed. I am very happy with my FM10s! I got the polished lip with satin anodized center, and it's unbelievable how the center matches the cortez silver paint on the car. Almost like I planned it that way.....

UPDATE: The wheels are in! Didnt have time to look all of them over, but opened one of the rear wheels. LOVE THEM!

Ordered on February 1st, and to my door on March 6th... so about 5 weeks. NOT BAD!!! Totally worth the wait.

Nice! You can't go wrong with FIKSE, Formula 45 or Forgeline.

I've always had the fastest delivery with Forgeline. Always 3 weeks.

I love Fikse wheels but aren't formula 43 wheels a total copy of Fikse wheels????

Some of the styles are similar but imo Formula 43 makes a higher quality wheel, they manufacture 100% of the wheel including spin forming their own barrels.

Awesome process--I was able to watch it first hand.

And they look great; just check out Tim's Camaro above...

FYI...I was the main sales person at Fikse from 2002-2006. Good to see Fikse still around as they were one of the very first to create so many features on three piece wheels that are standard today for so many other manufacturers.

I moved to Detroit in 2010 to help start FORMULA 43 Wheels.
