But then again how could they say no to a solemn request? It say's a lot about the principles and commitment of the generation.

Wow... who knew? You always hear stories from those that have served about feeling guilty that they survived versus those that didn't make it home. Pretty powerful decision to be buried with your war buddies over the usual "family".

Went there in '84.....still seeing the oil on the water seeping from its bowels was surreal......very moving place............jim

Pretty powerful indeed.......one would hope the family genuinely understands and accepts their decision.
