The Ultimate Street Car Association will open up registration for the first two OPTIMA Search for the Ultimate Street Car series of events at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca and Texas Motor Speedway in just a couple of days. We are finishing some final details on the website for electronic registration. We are also finishing up the USCA member benefits.
Entry fees for all USCA events will be $500 or $475 for USCA members. The entire weekend of events includes a Friday road rally followed by a social event, Saturday autocross, speed stop, and design/engineering challenge, and Sunday road course. Sunday will wrap up with an awards ceremony. Entries are limited to 100 participants, so there will be a lot of runs and track time for everyone.
The host hotel for MRLS is the Embassy Suites Monterey Bay in Seaside. They are currently accepting reservations for the USCA event with the code USC. The group rate is $159.
We are finalizing the host hotel info for Dallas even as we speak.
For those that may be concerned about the sound limits at MRLS, we are reconfiguring the course to add a chicane near turn 5 to slow the overall speeds and allow everyone to pass sound limits.
