I've been a long time lurker so please be kind to my first post. I'm 99.5% of the way there on purchasing a level 2 coil over kit and Trueturn from MCB to replace the worn out leafs on my recently purchased 69 Camaro (I know another one. It was a compromise with my wife and now I love it). At this point I'm not looking to race but just upgrade the ride quaity, handling and future options. My question to the forum is about install time. Assuming no major surprises what am I looking at for install time? Anything else you want to add would be much appreciated.

depends on your skill level..... I did the rear in 8 hours on a Saturday and the front lasted 3 days (about 3 hours a day after work) so 9 hours on the front but it really does come down to your skill level

I don't know that it is skill as much as confidence. The most skilled guy in the country will be able to install the second one in half the time.

I've also seen installation time expressed in cases of beer instead of hours :)

Yes, that would be 2 cases to do the job with 1 buddy. Add 1 case per weekend for any additional buddy. However, install time may increase after 3 cases. :D

I'll attempt to translate that another way by saying I need to do my research and identify those lessons learned early and minimize the cases of beer. The good news is there are a lot of build threads that are fun to read.

this could have been because there were cases of beer involved.

Both are fair points. There is obviously a lot I have to learn. :)
