View Full Version : Anvil's Biggest Carbon Blem Sale Ever!
ANVIL1
01-11-2014, 12:11 PM
Item Location (City/State): Rancho Dominguez, CA
Price: Various
Description: Anvil Auto is starting off the new year by purging its old inventory of parts including some blems with discounts that will never be seen again! If you are painting part or all of the parts we have for sale, or just have a lighteight race car, this is your chance to aquire some of our lightweight carbon fiber parts for never seen before, unbelievably low prices. We have several 1st gen Camaro header panels that aren't at the right angle (when looking from the rear or front). They can easily be fixed by cutting a verticle line in the back and then gluing back together. We've already made the cut in some, but we just don't have the time to repair them. These start at just $35 each! We also have some 1st gen and 2nd gen Camaro hoods with various blems including weave imperfections in certain areas, gel coat build up in corners and some warped hoods. We've been able to de-warp most warped hoods and we can e-mail you instructions on how to do so. There are also some interior parts like A-pillar moldings and instrument panels where some parts have barely noticable flaws for 15%-20% discount to some that are cracked and have very noticeable flaws for as much as 80% off. The damaged ones could be fixed and painted. We also have some blem spoilers left with similar flaws as the interior parts. Please call us on our toll free number (888) 723-8882 to inquire about what we have left and pricing. Pictures can be sent by request. It doesn't make sense for us to pay to keep these parts in our warehouse, so we are losing money by keeping them month after month. Our loss is your gain! While supplies last!

A soiler? I've got one of those at home; that's what I call my 4 month old daughter...but seriously folks!
We have one 2nd gen flat hood, no deck lid blems, 1 filler panel and a 1 pc. soiler, I mean spoiler. I also have 1 Nova instrument panel. The Camaro hood and spoiler are mostly just for paint with no exposed carbon, so they would be at least 50% off, the other parts aren't as bad and would be more like 15%-20% off.

How much for the cowl panel for 68-72 Nova?
20% off regular price of $299, which would be $239.20 We only have two and the they just have some minor surface scratches on them. They can easily be clear coated or painted and polished.

What is left for 2nd gen Camaros?
We have a couple power bulge hood blems left. We have 100% one, the only thing wrong with it is the weave is a little uneven on either side of the bulge, so that would go for $1500. I have a slightly warped (could be de-warped with a little work) carbon/fiberglass hood that I could let go for $495 (normally $995) or one with weave imperfections and white haze for the same price. We have a one pc. rear spoiler that is warped for $50, and insturment panels with various problems from $35 on up, and various A-Pillar moldings from %10-%35 off. Also have a couple carbon fiber radiator close out panels we will sell for the cost of our fiberglass ones ($299) which won't last long. Call us during the week. for details and availability.

Interested in Carbon Mirrors for 69 Camaro, Rear notch Carbon Spoiler, Front Lower Carbon Spoiler, Or Maybe Front Notch Spoiler.
We have 1 rear notched spoiler that may be spoken for a regular front spoiler and only non-blem front notched wrap around spoiler. We have plenty of regular rear spoilers, hoods, header panels and a few A-pillars with gauge pods (driver's side only). We can make anything on our site to order which can be done by calling us and placing an order with a deposit.

Sorry, we don't have any flat hood blems, but we do have some non-blems and several blems in cowl induction hoods (now 40-75% off). We also have several header panels that are easily fixed which I will sell at 60% off! I can tell you how to fix them. So simple, a cave man can do it.

OK, we are getting down to the last few items on our blems, but this is your chance to really get some great deals on some parts that you probably won't ever see again. Anybody who has knowledge of working with fiberglass will be able to make use of these parts by fixing little cracks or warping issues. I can walk anybody through it if they need it, but if you are planning on painting any of these parts and want to save weight or have a race car that isn't a show car, this is your chance to get some light weight parts at ridiculous prices; 50%-75% off in most cases. I'm paying to warehouse these parts, so I want to get them off the shelves and into some lucky car guy's hands! In some cases we have some hoods that have some damage in the corners or front that can be fixed and painted over and there are some that still have nice carbon fiber in the middle so you could expose parts of it if you want to see some carbon fiber as a stripe or accent area. We just don't have the time to work on all these parts ourselves, so our loss, your gain!

any Second Gen firebird hoods??
We have one 70-73 Formula hood in stock. It's a satin finish (could be made gloss by painting with gloss clear coat) that has some resin build up in the corners and a white streak running down the middle. I will sell this hood for $625 which is a 50% discount from the regular price.

The most effective way to find out what we have and pricing is to call our toll free number 888 723-8882, and talk to Manal. She can help you zero in on what we have that will fit your needs. What we have for 1st and 2nd gen Camaros is:
hoods, a few deck lids, 1st gen header panels, rear spoilers one each of front spoilers, instrument panels, A-pillars and pillars with gauge pods, a couple close out panels. The price is dependent on if you will want to paint the entire part, or try to leave some exposed carbon. Manal can shoot you pictures of what you want to see. We already have some pics, but there may be certain areas that you want to leave exposed, so we will need to go through our inventory to see if we have something that matches what you want. This may take awhile, so please be patient and leave a message if you don't get an answer. We will get back to you. Thanks!
