Yep. It came in pretty fast and hard. It's not so bad up here but OK in general gets more rain than we do.

It's 16 outside right now according to the weather website. Fun times :D

While it s beautiful in the Bay Area right know, we need some rain bad. I dont ever remember this dry for this long in the 47 short years i've lived here.

On topic, birds are just awesome too watch, being here in Livermore i get to see some neat birds when i ride mines rd. Bald Eagles, Golden Eagles, Plenty of vulchers, mocking birds, no condor's yet though.

But the freeze....crazy that bird lived...

I lived in Oklahoma for most of a decade. Man does it get cold there! The winter day I left OK to move back to California, the temperature was 8° but the wind chill factor was -40°. Brrrrr.

It's in the 60's all week here in Sacramento. And my wife & daughter say, "grab a jacket ... it's cold out."

That's why I love the bay area. The jet stream is in the perfect location for us. Also the bay keeps us in the 55 degree range.

I had friends from Iowa here and they laugh when I'm bundled up for 52 degree weather.

Growing up I use to feed a hawk mice that nested in a huge evergreen in our back yard.

The wind is the killer out here. There's no humidity where I am so winter temperatures aren't bad for the most part. Sure there are days when it's single digits or barely into double digits but they aren't the norm from what I've seen. Watch out if the wind blows though.
