In three weeks I have lost my favorite uncle and the little cousin that looked at me as an older brother. Last time I talked to my uncle was this past Mothers day, my cousin was at my uncle's funeral.
I am not looking for anything more than for you to GO talk to the people you care about, call, anything. And tell them you love them, even if you are not getting along. May be your last chance.

I'm sorry for your loss. But soo true. Take the time to tell all your loved ones you love them......
Sincere condolences.
Thank you for sharing the words of wisdom learned. That is the reality of our existence is our next breath comes with no guarantee.

Sorry for both your guys' losses. :(
We do (me included!) need to make an extra effort to be thankful for what we have (family/friend wise, not materially). In all honesty my dad probably shouldnt be here (3 times over!), but thanks to medical technology he is. But we've moved on like it was just another speed bump. Not really recognizing the fact of what it really was.
Note: My father has had two bouts with cancer (1994ish, and 97ish), bone marrow transplant in 1997. 2007 Congestive Heart Failure due to the Chemo treatments from the cancer. 2013 Heart and Kidney transplant. Went from severely bleeding internally from an LVAD (think, electric water pump to replace the heart pumping) to the heart transplant and is "like new" again.
Thanks for the reminder Bud. My parents just celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary on Tuesday. They return from their little vacation today. I need to make an extra point to go say I love em.

Sorry for your loss.
My condolences.
I'm sorry for your loss. I understand what you are saying about taking care of the ones you love.
I just spent the night in the hospital with my father in law. He had a mild heart attack Friday a week a go and has a anyerism in his stomach that need taken care of now and yesterday they found a 4cm mass on his stomach. We are kind of in limbo today waiting on tests.
I would appreciate your prayers if you have a chance.
Thanks
Bill
