Kind of a odd request guys. I recently sold my diesel guzzling 6.4 powerstroke before returning overseas for work. Im due to return in about a week. I live near Sac and found a nice Duramax at a dealership in Ventura. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to stop by the dealership and get eyes on and possibly test drive it for me?

Obviously I wouldn't make a decision solely off someone's opinion. I just don't want to drive all the way down there to find a beat up POS (its a lifted 07 with 60k). If anyone is willing to give it a good once over and test drive it I'll pay you for your time and fuel.

For some reason I don't think the 29' roadster will be a good driver in December LOL. Thanks in advance guys.:flag2:

I'm about 70 miles out from the dealership. If no one's closer I'll see if I can make it a weekend trip.

Hey Chris,

I told the salesmen I had a guy who owns a car shop around who may come look at it.......After we chatted a bit, turns out he was your salesman as well (Scott). Small world eh?

Do you know if the Duramax is an 07 Classic LBZ or 07 New body style LMM. Hopefully it is an 07 Classic as that is the last model before they began equipping them with DPF.

Good luck removing emissions equipment in CA! From what I understand, CA has gotten very agressive with diesel truck emissions compliance in the past couple of years. BTW, here is a great Duramax forum that I frequent almost as much as I am here.
