Are you looking for a local builder or just a good place to buy a well sorted out package? There are a number of well known places to buy from, many even have websites where you can see the packages they offer and then will do anything custom to achieve your goals.

Hi I'm starting a 69 pro tourer, keen for any advice or referrals to builders

I'm looking at LSX376 B15 with Whipple, I'm looking at trying for. 700hp?

Are you building a $50K chassis to handle that power? Are there roads straight enough in NZ to open it up all the way on? The normally aspirated LS3 has no problem besting 500HP. I would spend money on a forged rotating assembly, better valve train for long term reliability myself. Maybe you need to go for a ride in a LS3 Holden first.....then decide. Without active handling/driving aids a 500HP LS can be quite a handful and will run 11 second 1/4 mile times.

2x what Vince says above. We have a Wegner LS3 416 stroker in our TA.

If you are looking for a good GMPP dealer for the LSX376B-15 hook up with Zack in parts at Hudiburg Chevrolet in Midwest City, Oklahoma. I got a great deal on an LSX454 for my 69 Camaro through them. Their customer service has been fantastic and they treated me very well with anything needed for the engine to complete the install.
