ARP Polished Stainles Engine Bolt Kit for Big Block Chevy. ARP-535-9601. $151 new. I used some of the bolts from this kit, and there are still plenty left over:

Valve covers, Headers, Alternator Bracket, Water Pump, Coil Bracket, and a few misc

These are gorgeous bolts that really bring an engine to life and the small hex heads make getting tools on them easier.

For the head bolts, I found out my ZL-1 aluminum block requires head studs, not bolts. And those f_ckers are a special order for that particular block that ran me nearly $450. Not the kinda surprise I like.
