Has anyone run a 18x9.5 on the front with a +22mm offset? Also with what tire size width/series

Calculating it out that comes to a 6.116 backspacing. (that's taking into account +1 inch of stated size vs actual size)

If so what arm and spindle combo was used to get this. I know the tru turn set up claims to run up to a 10 inch wide wheel but I'm interested in running the AFX spindles.

Also does anyone know if tru turn correct the geometry like the AFX does?

I'm trying to nail down my wheel set up so I can know what axle size to run in the back.

Total set up with a would be front 18x9.5 +22mm (bs 6.116) offset with back 18x11 +25mm (bs 6.98) offset.

Anyone have some advise on this set up and if there is anyway to make it work?

I've been reading for 3 days straight and one moment I feel like it'll fit and next I read something different :bang:

Not sure about the AFX spindle, but I believe Ridetech recommends an 18x9.5 with 5.5" of back spacing or an 18x10 with 5.75" of back spacing.

The Ridetech spindle does correct the camber curve through its taller design over stock. The relocated steering center link bracket along with the raised steering arms drastically reduce bump steer.

Your gonna run into possible tie rod clearence issues with that much back space with the ATS spindle.

I think you would be better off going with a complete Ridetech setup. I believe they are able to run a 18x10 275 front and 18x12 335 rear on the 48 Hour Camaro.

Just so I understand, if the common BS for a 8" wheel is 4.75, wouldn't the extra width be added directly to the back space. So a 9.5" wheel would be 6.25" for the front, which is pretty close to 6.116? That's the plan I came up with, but I may be way off base as I have not bought my wheels yet.

Anything over 6" BS you will have to do some work to the frame and sway bar. You MAY run into inner wheel well interference too. All mods are worth the effort.
