Hooker has discontinued production of their 2238 side mount headers for 1st Gen SBC Camaros. It is reasonable to assume, however, that they still have the manufacturing specs on these headers in their files somewhere. I am trying to find out if there is any possibility that I can special order a set of these headers or alternatively obtain a copy of the plans to build my own set. I'm know there are a lot of influential SEMA members on this forum that are close the performance industry and may have contacts within Holley Corporation that they might be able direct me to. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Good luck working thru Hooker to get anything from them like this. I tried around 2005 to get a set of BBC sidemounts for a 69 Camaro that I wanted to build. It was a no go thru Hooker. At that time they still had the SBC sidemounts but only in chrome. So I paid for the chrome, and had them shipped to JetHot and coated in black. I still have them and just took them off to swap the SBC to a LS. I do not think I will ever let them go. I think your best bet is see a custom header company and get a set built. I talked to the folks at Kooks, in Statesville,NC and they said they could do it, but you may have sticker shock. Good luck in your search, and if you find any BBC sidemounts, let me know! Reactor
