-Jonathan Goolsby (left) and Josh Henning of Goolsby Customs - your Goodguys 2013 Trendsetter Award recipients!

Las Vegas, NV - Jonathan Goolsby and Josh Henning of Alabama’s Goolsby Customs were the dual recipients the Goodguys Trendsetter Award presented to rising talents in the realm of rod & custom car building. They accepted the award in front of their industry peers last evening at the annual Hot Rod Industry Alliance Industry Reception.
The duo of Goolsby and Henning began their business journey together in 2004 but started their careers customizing cars and motorcycles decades earlier. Working together for the past 9 years, they’ve set a new standard in muscle car and hot rod fabrication, design and performance.
With an eye on the future, the pair respectfully honors the past, taking their game to a new level by channeling the European coach builders of decades gone by. Painstaking detail, high quality craftsmanship, impeccable paint & body work and taking the time to “do it right” is their calling card.
The cars that have rolled out of their state-of-the-art shop in the Deep South in recent years include the “Project Pegasus” ’71 Mustang,” the 1932 Ford Roadster “Coachbuilt” and the “Loka-RS” ’69 Camaro and others including John Lexus’ fresh ’67 Chevelle. The Loka-RS Camaro, built for Skip & Debbie Walls of Lokar just won the Goodguys 2013 Grundy Muscle Machine of the Year award.
In the past 5 years, the Goolsby team has won a Street Machine, Street Rod and Muscle Machine of the Year Finalist award, as well as a SEMA GM design award. Based on what they’ve produced so far, there are many more accolades to come for these talented craftsmen.

Sorry for the delay in this response , been a whirlwind couple of weeks , got in last night from Scottsdale , so this week will be filled with playing catch up.
Thank so much to all of you guys , it was a very exciting Sema that's for sure. Never would have imagined such a huge honor from the folks at Goodguys, really left us speechless
Glad you all liked the chevelle ,and yes Jonathan looks young , he gets that all the time!
Huge thanks goes out to Phil and the RS gang , to even start this thread shows the class these guys have, truly thank you
