I'm doing a turbo setup on my Chevelle and looking for an a/c mount that hugs the engine the closest in the passenger side valvecover location. I have C5 Vette accessories on the car.

What options are there?

This one seems to stick out really far? Is this really my only option?

I used the Holley bracket with my corvette brackets. I like it a lot. For the price, you can't beat it. I know Vintage Air sells a bracket that mounts it low pass side area but space might be an issue. Hope this helps you.

I think the kwik bracket and the holley bracket are about the same placement. The holley brackets look more oem and matches the corvette accessories.

I have had nothing but issues with kwik brackets. I have run the holley brackets and they work flawlessly.

I have the Holley bracket with the Vette alt/PS bracket. I have the bracket for the sanden compressor, not the R4 one. It fits good & looks stock, haven't ran it yet so I cannot comment on that side.

If you want an AC bracket that hugs the block, Holley bracket sticks out the same amount as the Kwik bracket that you have, so not much to gain by switching out to Holley bracket. Almost all of the brackets that tugs the compressor to the block are the billet kind (VA front runner for example).

you will have to purchase a front drive system like vintage air or wegner to get it tucked in like you are wanting..

this is a wegner system on my car and you can see how compact it is. yes they are expensive but well designed. something like this may help package your turbo setup easier though...

After all the failed fitments and alternators hitting the inner fenderwells, power steering hose hitting pitman arms we stepped up to the Wegner kits too. The fit super close and tight. Plus they give you everything with the kit. Water pump, power steering pump, alternator and harmonic balancer. We put them on all of our LS builds.

Im sure GNX7 might have all the parts so a holley bracket should be fine. But its gonna take some magic to get turbo tubing past that.

What style harmonic balancer does the Wegner kit use? Ie Fbody/truck/vette/GTO

My fabricator has the skills.... We are also trying to package a massive Chiseled Perf a/w intercooler in there also. Space is getting tight

It's an ATI unit with custom pulley.

If you need a set up let me know. We can drop ship.

Must be a truck balancer I'm assuming. I can't see any other way to get that AC compressor in front of the head instead of next to it.

It's an ATI dampener with a pulley for the drive bolted to the face of it.
