"I'm parting out my Corvette since it was wrecked. Gave it to some guy named Mikey G to detail it and the next thing I know it turns up wrecked. So I'm parting it out now.
Still has good engine and was only wrecked in the rear and top. Has the 7 speed manual transmission.
Only has 1257 miles on it. Will not sell whole so don't ask.
If interested contact Trent at (402) 382-5968"

:lol:
Car owner isn't paying and the detailer will end up taking him to small claims. :D

Interesting you would think he had insurence on the car and then they would get the car??? Either way who takes their brand new C7 to get detailed :badidea:
Anyway how much to you think he wants for the engine and trans??? Lol

Most new cars look a better after a good detailing, some a lot better. "Dealer prep" usually just scratches & swirls the paint. A friend of mine details high end cars and he routinely details new cars. So it being at a detailer is not surprising at all.

Oh I get it on detailing but I don't get why no ins?? Just seems a little fishy that he would be just be parting it out?? :knokwood: Plus on Craigslist?? Maybe but just seems strange.

Just curious why the hell you would take a car with only 1200 miles to some detail shop, I bet it was one hell of a burn out, Hope everything works out for the owner of the car

I can understand getting it detailed, but in my neck of the woods if you take your car to a detailer named Mikey G, bad things are bound to happen. Plus I came across this;

Thanks Greg, I just kept saying who would just put it up on Craigslist??? :thumbsup:
