I'm running into issues not be able to install stock bolts through the lower t-bar into threaded studs on the a-arm. Basically there is no head clearance to get a ratchet and the pocket on the a-arm is too deep for a wrench. I'd like the t-bar supported by the pocket. Thinking of drilling the threaded nuts for a 5/16 bolt and use lock but from the bottom and bolt from the top.

That should work fine but watch the length of bolt that you use. 1/8" past the nut is good.

Unless you are doing a significant amount of custom fabrication, our shocks will not work with the oem lower control arm. Not enough vertical room on that suspension. How did you end up with that combination?

Drilled out the lower nuts to a 3/8 hole and used 5/16-18 x 1 1/2" bolts and lock nuts.

@ Bret: I got these directly from Ridtech when I reedeemed my
Ridetech Renegade award. No issues with assembly since I mounted them on the top side of the a-arm. I could see that they would not fit if one tried to mount them on the underside similar to the stock shock.

Looking forward to testing and tuning these sweet coilovers!
I can already tell a marked improvement over the stock shocks and 2" dropped springs I just removed.
