I have a DSE roll bar installed and would like to put in door bars. I really like Ridetechs so I am wondering if anyone has tried installing them on the DSE roll bar?

I believe the DSE hoop is 1-5/8" and Ride Tech's is 1-3/4". If you can get 1-5/8" clamps it could be done.

I have a DSE 4pt roll bar and used Tiger Cage clamps for the cross bar. Some modification may have been required, but I don't remember.

It looks like I could weld tabs in place of the clamps since the car is far from being finished. Though it might not look to good being two different size tubes. Thanks for the replies guys.

Have you looked at Chassisworks door bar options?

Ya I had a look at them, I just preferred the look of Ridetech. But I can't download there catalogue at the moment since I'm in camp and the internet sucks. When I get home I will down load it to see if they have different styles then a straight bar.

We have several different configurations of door and tubing connectors. The connectors themselves are NHRA approved and have passed tech with several road racing organizations. Where you install them and how is the deciding factor when it comes to any specific class legality. We did lab testing and the tubing actually sheared before the connection was broken.

Click For Side Bar Clevis Sets. (http://www.cachassisworks.com/c-165-side-bar-clevis-sets.aspx)

Also, we just started offering our Gemini Connector as a separate part. This makes it so any vertical tube can be disconnected. Click Here For 1-5/8" Gemini Connectors. (http://www.cachassisworks.com/c-1234-gemini-connectors.aspx)

There are some special configurations that we came up with for the Exact-Fit roll bars and cages. CLICK HERE (http://www.cachassisworks.com/c-1020-pro-touring-roll-cages.aspx)for the PT cage and bar section. Scroll down a little for the connectors. The Camaro we're taking to SEMA this year will have removable door bars on the roll bar. Here's a pic of JUST the hardware for the door bar, SKU # 7045.

You can see both types of connections on the Camaro clip below.

Thanks! You'll have to let me know how it looks; I'll be in Maui on a poorly timed honeymoon. :bang: Haha!

Congratulations! Consider renting a Jeep so you can explore some of the remote beach accesses. Also the beach at the southern tip is worth seeing. It's been a while since my wife and I were there but the Jeep really was great transportation.

I've always admired your cage components I'm sure I'll be impressed.
