Last weekend we had an Accident in Norway, it looked just like an normal rollover, I was there. (this guy has rolled a million times) But he broke his neck! Really unlucky!
Hope he gets well soon.
Think of this before you drive like an madman, Things happen, especially if you sit in a harness without an rollbar, in case you flip, the roof on an old car goes flat fast!

That's intense! Sorry he's hurt but glad he's alive. Here's hoping for a full recovery.

Wow that does suck I hope he's ok. Looking at the video it looks like the cage didn't hold?? It should have held up to that hit? Not sure though its hard to tell for sure from the video.

I dont know, but I think there came sand inside the car, and the sand pressed the roof plate in between the rollbars maybe? and the sand in the car took up the Place between his head and the roof. Or it was just a too hard straight Down hit maybe.
I dont know him myself, this is info from Insane racing:
"Martin broke his neck in three places and also smashed the intervertebral disc (pillow) between spline 6 and 7. Two parts came loose from the spine and one hit a nerve causing the left arm to totally paralyze. You can see in the video that the left arm is just hanging down without any motion. The left arm turned to be better after a short period of time, only being a little num.
Also take notice of the helmet after the roll over. Even though the shield was shut at the start of the course, the helmet was completely filled with sand when he landed at the bottom. "

Well first thing that comes to my mind is why they're yarding off his helmet ---- if someone has a neck injury -- which in this case you wouldn't know -- but there are things you can do to check.
Perhaps they had to get the helmet off or he couldn't breathe perhaps... IDK.

Yeah, I agree there, the first thing you learn is to "not move" People that have been in accidents, and I would think that to pull him out With the helmet and the neck pad still on would be atleast more by the book.
But I dont know, they presumably/hopefully know what they are doing, and they probably had a reason. :)
*I may add that I have never heard of anybody hurting themselves in Formula Offroad before. Even though that seems weird so much they roll and crashes, but it is pretty low speed when they roll, and maybe the sand and dirt often take most of the energy away from the collisions.
But it is one of the best Motorsports in my opinion, especially to watch.
