Hi all,

I'm a longtime lurker here, with a few posts here and there on lat-g. I spend most of my forum times over at pro-touring.com.

I spent most of my adult life in Portland/Vancouver area (Oregon/Washington), and had been living in Houston for the last 2 years. I bought a 67 Firebird 400 in 2006 from a guy in Puyallup. Spent 3 years restoring it from the ground up in my 2 car garage. Powertrain consisted of a rebuilt Pontiac 400/Turbo 400 combo.

I have a project thread on pt.com (link below) documenting the process.

Here's a picture of the car when I came and looked at it.

After 3 years

After a year driving it in Houston, got tired of the Pontiac drivetrain and decided to pull it out and swap in a 5.3/4l60e. :G-Dub:

I will document the LS swap in the project section. The swap is done for the most part, just working out the bugs.

Welcome! Good to see more people in the Houston are popping up. Lot of work looks like it took place in 3 years. I'm envious!
