Just a reminder for everyone to proudly fly your American Flag today and pay respect to those men, women and children who lost their lives as well as all of the families who were impacted by the senseless and unprovoked act of violence on this day 12 years ago.

Isn't it suppose to be flown at half staff today also?

My flag is flying as much as the weather will allow.
I take it down during the winter months and then as soon as the weather turns, I put back up the Red, White and Blue! :flag2: :flag2: :flag2:

We bought a 50' one for my work a few years ago and LOVE it! Big spotlight on it for nights and all. Just forgot to bring it down half today. :(

Is there a site that shows flag etiquette and the days that it is supposed to change?:flag2:

Good info. The local post office wasn't at half staff so I left mine up. I'll know next time.

This is one a lot of people forget

The flag should be raised briskly and lowered slowly and ceremoniously. Ordinarily it should be displayed only between sunrise and sunset. It should be illuminated if displayed at night.
