The first snow of the year usually signals the official end of the musclecars / hot rods hitting the streets for the season here in the Motor City. Waking up to snow this Thanksgiving morning, after experiencing freezing rain / sleet / hail / ice throughout the later part of yesterday, definitetely wasn't expected. We haven't really seen any of this type of weather over the last few years until almost the end of the year, usually not even enjoying the classic white christmas. Running to the store this morning, it was somewhat of a sad sight to see a nice '70 440 Challenger sitting in a residential driveway with ice and snow all over it - sheesh, you'd think the guy would have atleast had it protected with a car cover (maybe he was caught of gaurd?).

The good news? Let's get the winter projects started, if a tad earlier than expected!

Paul, consider yourself lucky!
Our season is usually over by the second week of October! :D

If we get that weather once in a decade we get all excited! It has been crisp and sunny here.

This is part of the reason why I will be "out west" (Arizona and Nevada) briefly around the New Year. Let's just say that there is a good chance that the average required shipping times to the western states may be reduced dramatically at some point down the road in the not so distant future (!)

Actually, I don't think we ever have a beginning or an end to our cruising seasson. At least not for the years I've been around. Maybe if it rains, but it's not that often.

Finally fell, huh Scott? I bet you're stoked!

We've had a warm spell for the last few weeks, it's been anywhere from 30 to the upper 40's. Most of our 12" of snow is now gone.
