55 210 project

[Proto X]

A couple months ago A friend of mine sent me a picture of a car he bought. I have always loved 55's so I had to have it. I bought a 69 camaro 5 years ago to restore but I decided to start on this instead. This is due to my grandpa having 55 that he bought new in 1955. If I did the camaro first he may not be around to see the completion of the 55. Going to do complete frame off resto. I am going to try and post pictures as it goes.

I am looking at the roadster shop chassis. (If anyone has used this I would like to here from you)

Finished a 3 Day tear down today and took it to body shop for blasting and new metal!! It is going to need a ton of work!!!! Should have all new metal on by the end of the year.

Nice plan, you will find a few on here that have a RS chassis!! Works of art!

Roadster Shop has a finished '55 on here...posted it last week IIRC.

Here's another supporting vendor, Ironworks, who also builds tri-five chassis.

Wow you have a cool friend. I would love to have friends that would give up their newly acquired '55's, ha ha

Any updates on this?

I too picked up a '55 earlier this year, but I am holding off on it until my Firebird is driving. I'm going gasser on my '55 though.
