I have a 1964 El camino I have owned since 1997. I tore the car apart in 1998 to restore it and once I painted it in about 1999 it sat unassembled in my garage. I started back on it in March of this year and now have it done, but I need to sell it to finish my other 1964 Chevelle so the family can come with me to the events.
SPECS...
ENGINE- 327 stock rebuild (5,000 miles on it) It was taken from my other Chevelle as I am going put an LS in it. MSD H.E.I distributor and 1 wire Powermaster alt.
TRANS-TH350
BRAKES- CPP 13" front with there c5 style spindle. Rear are CPP 12" with E-brake. All new stainless lines with Wilwood proportioning valve and Corvette style master.
SUSPENSION-Front has stock control arms with urethane bushings, new ball joints, tie rods, center link and idler arm. 1 1/8 front swaybar. Rear has Chris Alston billet aluminum lowers with there adjustable uppers. Rear 7/8 swaybar.
SPRINGS- Hotchkis lowering springs
SHOCKS- Bilstein tuned by Hotchkis
EXHAUST- 2 1/2" stainless Magnaflow kit
WIRING- American auto wire classic update kit
AIR CONDITIONING- Vintage air
INTERIOR- All new stock style headliner, door panels and carpet. The seats are 1968 Chevelle buckets with TMI foams and covers. The console is a factory 1964 Chevelle SS piece. The floor is painted with POR-15 then covered in Dynamat extreme. The roof also is covered in Dynamat.
GAUGES- Dakota Digital VHX series
STEREO- Sony with Pandora, hands free calling ,mp3, etc. Infinity Kappa 6x9s.
PAINT- Dupont chromabase 2 stage, painted in 1998/99 and just recleared in June 2013 with PPG clear.
WHEELS/TIRES- Intro vista 17" with Nitto tires 225 front 255 rear.
BED- Spray on Raptor liner. The front of the bed floor tilts up for lockable storage.
I just finished the El camino so it only has 50 miles on it! (5,000) on motor.
