So after blowing up at last year's event and then going through a year long saga to get the motor rebuilt, I made it back to Throwdown 2013 and came in 5th overall. Not bad for a guy who has no idea what he's doing...

Issue is on the stands on the 20th. We also just got back from terrorizing Malibu, CA with the truck with the help of Matt Farah and the crew. Look for the truck in an episode of /Tuned sometime in October.

Here's a little preview...

Congrats! I had a feature in Truckin' and Sport Truck back in the late 90's. what a great feeling. Cool truck! I'll check it out when it hits the stand.

Good job! You obviously don't know what you're doing correctly.

Eh, I'm nothing special. Just an idiot who doesn't know when to quit.

I wish I could've had more seat time... OK, ANY SEAT TIME, in the truck before the event, but such is life. I had to bed the brakes on the runway at El Toro when we got there. That was how much time I had behind the wheel of that truck in over a year. I'm happy with how the truck performed at the event, and has only gotten better since then. I want to make some changes for next year to help the cooling and see if I can't learn which pedal makes the truck go forward...
