View Full Version : Seam Sealing bottom of pan

Finally getting to the bottom of the car and after cleaning it all up I notice that it is in relatively good shape after 35 years, other than the rust through from interior leak, but it does not have any seam sealer underneath. Is it overkill to use a brushable seam sealer on all seams or just prudent while it is all clean? I have already painted it all with Eastwood Corroless so next step is seal and paint, or just paint?

seal it.... it makes things look better as well.... go for it!

i use the sem 2 part seam sealer.. its expensive but well worth it..
