I was wondering if anyone has used an aftermarket STOCK replacment front subframe. I can get one for like 850 bucks. I priced out cleaning mine and powdercating it and it is around 600 buck. The thing is it is 40+ years old and I lived on a dirt road so i am sure that there will always bee some kind of dirt/ sand hiding in little nooks that i will never be able to get at to clean. Let me know your thoughts on qulity if you could thanks

Yup. Just finished few days ago on my 68 Camaro. ordered it from Jegs. I think its made by AMD. Fit like a glove aside from just enlarging a couple of mounting holes. Very happy.

We just used one on a 69. It was a dynacorn. We tried to get an AMD but were told they discontinued them. Everything fit well. We still had it blasted & powdercoated for a more durable finish. 850 is good price I think my buddy paid 895 + shipping. Scott
