So just as the thread title implies, how are you guys getting the sand out of your cars? I blasted mine myself, and I used -44 media. It just keeps showing up. It's on a rotisserie, and I'll roll it, vacuum all I can see in every crevis and behind the panels. Roll it the other way, do the same. Break out the air and blow dust. Next thing I know, I've got sand back in the floor. Look behind the panels and there's sand. Look in the trunk and there's sand. Look in the cowl and there's sand. This has gone on for a couple weeks now. And I've spent hours blowing the rockers out, to no avail. What's the secret?
Please don't tell me I should have dipped the car.

Keep doing what you are doing... juts keep rotating it....blowing in every crevice you can find...bang on the panels alittle....vacuum it out....then rotate and repeat...over and over.....

That what I did with mine....and I still had some come out when I sprayed the epoxy :)

If you can get a long nozzle air gun, it will help. I used one that was made from a piece of copper pipe and about two feet long.

I know your pain. When I cut the rust out of my rockers, I pulled out about two pounds of crushed glass.

I had mine done about 4 hours from where I live. The blaster did a good job blowing all of it out. However the 4 hour trip home on an open trailer down the interstate blew out anything not blown out in the shop. Just sayin. A 70 mph wind tunnel (down the interstate) for an hour or so may be your answer.

Thanks for all the replys guys. I think I'm gonna try the 70 mph wind tunnel method, as well as washing the car out completely after its sealed. Hope to seal next week! Thanks again!

I was hoping this wasn't a re-post!!!
