We (MudBoogersRacing) started on the poll in the heat and had Ryan Diatte (he's bad fast) on the outside, Ryan passed Keith going into turn 3 and Keith hung with him a little and finished 2nd...In the main Keith again started on the poll (they inverted 4) and had Ronnie "MONSTER" Williams (another bad fast D&R guy) outside of him. On the start,, Ronnie past Keith going into 3 on the outside and Keith & Ronnie pulled away from Ronnie's D&R chassie team mate Angel Figueroa (#5) and had some fun until Keith spun and was dead last..
Then Keith lost his head and drove like a wild man (not the thing to do, but you know how a frustrated racer can be sometimes lol) and just over drove the car the track and we ended up 8th..wE HEAD BACK TO VENTURA NEXT WEEK.WE'RE 3RD IN POINTS THERE (135 OUT OF FIRST PLACE w/ 5 races left ) We may head up to Quincy next Wed for a race.
Again not bad for a 15 year old car that has had more front & rear clips then a nail salon clips nails! My driver lacks some self confedence (I think it's the car) ..I'm working on his confdence the best I can and him buying the black #3 D&R car that Ryan is driving for now, for next season ..I am making progress on both!!
I'll have our in car soon and hopefully outside footage of the main. if anyone cares :guns: :mock:
Here is vid of the main from Austen Figueroas in car (Keith is on the pole#48)
NY4UcwkhyWA
Ryan Diatte's in car from the heat..he is smooth! His ride (D&R #3 car) broke a Valve Spring at the end and was done for the night
Ha Ha keith sure spun the tires on the start ..Track was somewhat dry slick and worse in the main

Here is why you wear all yourSAFETY GEAR!! The driver walked away!! Why this track has K- rails I'll never know. Phil was in 3rd and the checkered was out too

Just for giggles here's 16 yr old Hannagirl up in Ocean city raceway on Friday night, her eng went Kablooooie! Kapow! Kablam! Kazoo!! They drove back to Socal... changed engines and came raced with us at OSS on Sat.. Hannagirl Mayhew is HARD CORE LOLOL

Yeah, they've put them up for sale every time Walt gets frustrated.

Have you got to drive one? I drove it once when we first got it out at El Mirage dry lake but no traction, still fun though Since then he has offered many times ....But now I don't fit in it :bang: LOLOLOL. I've driven a couple other guys cars around the pits.I FIT IN THEIR'S. This was supposed to be a starter car for him.. it's old, to small and just worn out.
I'll drive his new car at an open practice NEXT YEAR

I assume hp to weight wise they do a decent job of pumping adrenaline?
Regarding fitment.......start eating higher quality fuel more frequently (8-10 times a day vs. 2-4) and gradually reduce the volume. Higher octane, smaller jets, moderate throttle application. Pay attention to the carbs, cals, and fat, and be aware them from this point forward. Commit to it for 6 months and it will start to become habit because you'll feel better and be spending less money. It's a win-win proposition.

So a couple of weeks ago we blew up and windowed the block in the #48 car. We decided to buy a new engine that had a car wrapped around it...
Bought it Friday, through it in the trailer and went to Ventura on Saturday, Raced it rt out of the box..had a pretty good night of racing too considering we had no clue what to do lolol ;)
Here is KV's 2011 D&R p/u
Looks good Dawg, slightly offset rear end! Clutch lever on shifter? What motor and how many hours? What's the used price range on decent dwarfs?

Nice lookin' ride Jer!! Hey.....I drove a baby grand at Sonoma yesterday....hard to get used to.....the pedal area is small and pedals were shifted to the left. I came up on turn 4 and instead of hitting the brakes I hit the gas.......needless to say the grass is groomed pretty well on the outside of 4 now
