Here in the near future we will be putting everything back together for fitment. I plan on using the DSE sub but I do not have it at the moment. Is it a good idea to use the original sub or wait until I receive the DSE sub? Or does it matter?

Thanks.

If you're trying to gap the car or looking at any other precise measurement/fit items, wait for the sub you'll end up using.

Yup what he^^^^ said!! There could be small differences from one to another.

Can we go ahead and fit and weld up the back half of the car (Floor, trunk, quarters, doors, mini tubes, rear suspension, etc. without any problems then fit the frount half of the car after receiving the DSE sub?

Thanks.

That is what we did Ron. The DSE subframe just bolts on the front like the stock unit. The only slight adjustment is the front inner wheel house. Of course, my 67 Camaro is NOS parts. :sarcasm_smiley:

I remember Stacy Tucker telling me that they just switched subframes, when her and Kyle were testing out the parts.

So no gap problems with the door/fender or hood?

Thanks.
