Thinking LS and was curious about HP difference between stock LS manifolds and headers.Tired of bad header gaskets and no room around the headers. When I make the transition to LS I want to make the right decision on exhaust.

If I'm not mistaken the manifolds have there own clearance issues with Gen 1 subframe crossmembers. Regarding HP, the OEM's are posting adequate numbers with them.

These guys have some very interesting products that look like they solve a lot of clearance issues without giving up a bunch of power. Stielow is using them on his latest car.

If you decide to run manifolds i'm sure the power could be made up somewhere else.

I talked with these guys the other day and these look like great headers and nice price to the tune of about $1000. They told me it was going to be a couple weeks before they would be ready to ship. I am gonna order a set as soon as they email with the word they are ready!

Ultimate Headers will be able to help! Our new 321 SS headers are designed with a 1.875" diameter tubing with tight radius cast stainless elbows that allows them to fit in tight spaces, while making power!
When tested on a Katech built 427 LS3 making 581 HP, we picked up 41 HP over factory cast iron manifolds, and 18 over factory Z06 manifolds!
Please contact us with any other questions, happy to help with your Camaro!
Thanks!

Do you have full length first gen Camaro headers for an Art Morrison sub?
The headers above look short.

Their headers are all the short style. Here's why Mark is using them on his new car.

Mark I think the car looks sick, that stance and front clip are awesome!

Why the shorty headers what was the reason for those? Wont you leave some hp on the table??

Right now the car is slammed and has 315s on the front and 335s on the rear. Looks like they will work. I'm waiting for the BFG Rivals to see how big they are before I settle in on a tire and wheel. It has 18 X 11 front and 18 X 12.5 rears.

In all of our dyno testing these blower motors are fairly insensitive to back pressure. In fact Mayhem made 877 HP through the stock LS9 exhaust manifolds. These "shorty" headers let me use the 2002 engine mounts and frees up a ton of space and are lighter. Less mass up front.

We will A-B these headers on a dyno test soon at Thomson's, but Katech dynoed them and did not loose much on a N/A engine. I really like them they look like nice parts.

These headers are a shorty version as they are designed to fit multiple applications. Stay tuned for more options...
Thank you!

The Stainless Works Wayne Due style fit great in a AME frame, I have pics if you need to see them. I also have these on sale for $690 if you need a set
