This is not a paid endorsement. I called Charlie and he was kind enough to let me and a couple of my friends come over and drool all over this car for a car guy field trip. I can tell you pictures do not do it justice. If I was not finishing up my car this would be my new ride. The fit and finish is amazing! Not to mention the big 315's on the front.

Yea, I'm not a newer Ford guy, I think maybe everybody got a bad dose of Mustang GT's back in the 80's/90's, you guys remember those times!!
This is good Ford era, back when everybody likes 65 Mustang, and Fastbacks along with a Galixie 500, This is a cool car !!!

I was thinking the same thing when I was looking at it. I would sell my camaro to buy this thing...its that cool.
I don't have any more pics, but I can tell you it is a first class car. One really cool feature is he wanted to run air but did not want the condensor up front. The condensor is in the trunk with an intake under the car, fan and exhaust port.

I love the 315's on the front! I remember reading the PHR article about this car and I was very impressed with all fabrication that went into building it. The price sounds sounds very reasonable for such a high end car. Good luck with the sale.

Quack!! :D
I bought the Fairlane. Charlie is a great guy and he sure has a nice shop.
Flew in on Saturday with Steevo, Jake (68Protouring454) and Todd from Racetek. The car will be in NY exactly one week later (boy Nascar country is great, one day to find a enclosed trailer shipper, I wish all shipping was this easy).
The car is so cool and it is defenitely a Nascar for the street. Right down to the rear truck arm setup and brakes that came off of Jeff Gordon's road racing nascar.
Oh yeah, we also ate some North Carolina BBQ, not bad, the Sweet Tea was outstanding.
Thanks to the Lat-g site or else this deal would not have happened.

Jim,
Sweet car! I saw that car at the GG show in Columbus a couple of years ago. It is amazing. Have fun! I am sure it was a smokin deal for sure, even at the asking price! Can't wait to see some more pictures and a road test review!
Keep us posted!
Darren
That's a very cool car! The Fairlane has always been one of my favorites.
My first car was a 1966 Fairlane, given to me by my grandmother back in the early eighties. She never did really appreciated me "jacking" it up and putting a set of 60 series tires on the back....
