Nobody??

Nice Scirocco, I really like them, my driver now is an Golf 2 16 Valve

My first car was an 78 Camaro LT, it was primer black, had longer spring shackles in the rear + Hi-jackers/air shocks and big Block springs in the front, it was really high! It had a 350, With headers/carb/intake.. the usual

Later I bought a pack from Vette Brakes & Products, It was Bilstein shocks, lowering springs and composite springs in the rear, and tubular upper A-arms.

Installed used 3.73 in the rear and 15" American Racing Wheels.

And painted it black, painted it in as rolled it on With "regular" Paint :D It looked good actually. 2 layers ;)

Vent 14.2&100MPH in the 1/4 mile.

In the front I had Pos-A-Traction tires!! Some of you may remember them? That my dad bought New in 76, still have them, they are like ice in grip.. Dad says they were even bad in 76....

I wrecked it.. :( And later traded the wreck in a 2-door 56 Chevy

'78 Camaro type LT. 2 barrel 305/ auto, it was a real dog and came with a luggage rack (that was the first thing to go). But it had t-tops and the early style dash. It would (eventually) reach 130 with a fresh set of plugs. I lived in the country in upstate NY at the time. We had many open roads there.

I had bought it when I was 15 for a sum of $1,300 (in 1990), and started saving for it (whatever it would be) since I was 10. I had this car for just over a year. While I had it I upgraded it to a set of 1970's Z/28 rims (came with Nova rallyes), and a spoiler from a wrecked '79 Z/28. The last thing I did to it was buy a mildly built 350 and had it installed. I drove it for all of five minutes before it backfired through the carb, caught fire, and burned to the ground. That was a hard lesson at 16 and to this day I carry a fire extinguisher in my cars.

It was a 1969 datsun 510 with black enkei wheels , bright yellow , no jnterior and offcourse air shocks back in 1989 that was cool ( I think ). I told mom I wanted to buy the a car down the street. Her imediate reply was your only fifteen and you can't drive, so NO.
So what's a kid to do , Disobey your parents it is. I was working a local supermarket part time and pretty soon and $1000.00 later it was mine. The car would stay at my buddy's garage for now. Until I could convince the folks. Fixed a few issues like put in seats and got it on the road, had never driven much less a stick shift so imagine the fun.
It was a very short lived but almost worth the $$. Got pulled over about a month later , car got impounded , turned out to be TAG job and my car was gone before I could even let the lady's see it. Should had listened to mama!

Two years later got my self a 1984 Camaro w 305, got a deal on some corvette wheels. Some cast aluminum adapters later and I had me the only Camaro in town w those wheels. Yeah this one lasted me a while and lady's most definety got to see inside of that one ( mostly the head liner ) :)

Than came The 1989 TPI IROC Convertible blk on blk 3 lane IROC wheels. I loved those camaros I couldn't believe why everybody didn't drive one. I just thought it was the best car in the world , besides all the rattling coming from your dashboard when you ran over an ant I liked that model 1982-1992. man I put miles on that thing. Never wanted a convertible after that. It was cool in late 80s early 90s ( I think ):) no trying to offend Any one but convertibles are for girls and chumps / yuppies

1979 jaguar xj12 with a 95 lt1, it was a simple heads, cam ,stall, gears, etc. I miss that car dearly. Surprised numerous street rods and corvettes in the Pleasanton area. I got involved with sport bikes and the car got parted out.
