I might be purchasing a 72 Lemans in a few days and will definitely be going the pt route. I had a couple questions though, the car is missing the front fenders, core support, and hood. I was wondering if its possible to put a 70 GTO front end on the car and what pieces i would need. If anybody has any info that might help, i'd appreciate it.

I'll be getting pics as soon as i get it, as well as updates on the build if all goes well.

Thats from the front of the front doors forward. Warning, however, If you find a donor 70 GTO, you have to get EVERYTHING. every nut bolt clip bracket, etc. It is not a piece meal job IE some stuff from a Lemans will work, etc. The 70 Goat front end shares nothing with any other Lemans/GTO of other years. The fenders alone, The Endura alone(with all the parts that go with) the lower valence, Core support, filler piece, marker and side lights, and much less the Hood (reproductions are crap) etc are expensive stand alone much less individually. My suggestion is buy a whole car, cheaper, and use what you need. I am doing a project simular to yours right now to a convertible. Its doable but a hassle unless you purchase a complete car. Trust me, you'll spend more on a complete front end than a roller in need.

Vince, if you need help on where to look for stuff for a 70 GTO, I can help. Just send me a PM and I'll give you some direction.

Good Luck
