X Games Pro Touring Event

How cool would it be if they had an AutoX event in the XGames or the Dew Tour? I don't think it would be that far of a reach. Some HD video and audio, I guarantee it would be as entertaining as some of the other events. It would be great exposure for the sport, not to mention the business it could potentially generate for manufactures. The runs are quick enough, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. The only issue I see is international events. I know I would be glued to the TV, volume up, beer in hand. Thoughts.......?

Sounds Bad Ass!! Just have to get the sponsors to pony up $150-$200k to build some Pro-Touring rides that will likely get wrecked. Pocket change in that world.... Probably find it laying around Red Bull's tour bus in the cushions!

Problem with that is that as an X Games event, it would consist of Mitsu Evos and Subaru WRXs.

How many people gather around and watch Goodguys Autocross? GG doesn't do an Autocross at the two events in Washington....ahem, cough cough. :idea:

I remember watching monster trucks and the stadium trucks when I was a kid, that was cool but it also involved carnage. One of the boxes in my house (tv or computer) I've seen an indoor track with two cars splitting a track, maybe it was more of an indoor rally course.

Sounds cool to me, I'd buy a ticket .
