hoping someone could awnser this question. Does the position of the rear yoke on the nine inch end up further forward or back further if swapped with a 12 bolt rear. Trying to figure out if the driveshaft will need to be lengthened or shortened? Rear is in 69 camaro quadlink.
Thanks Rich
Rich,
Inland could probably answer that efficiently: http://www.iedls.com/
They provided very good service to me on my trans conversion.

Scott, Thanks for the suggestion, As a matter of fact they built my driveshaft. I called them and they couldnt help since they rely on measurements for shaft lengths.
I guess im just looking for a general idea on weather the center section yoke ends up a bit closer to the trans compared to a 12 bolt. I cant see it being the same since the two designs are completely different.
thanks again Rich
Hopefully someone responds over the weekend, if no call Moser or Currie on Monday?

the pinion is about 1" shorter than a 10 bolt. and lower so you will need a new drive shaft

Thanks Scott,Blake
Sorry for the delayed reply, been floating around the Caribbean for the last couple weeks. Got a gear set in my 12 bolt thats howling like no tomorrow and thinking about going 9 inch. Realizing I have to much invested in the 12 at this point.
Appreciate the response, Rich
