It was removed until we decide what to do with it. :headscratch:

The defense of the second amendment was being defended by trampling on someone's first amendment rights. It's common, carry on.

It wasn't what you posted, it is what I posted. Without naming names, there was a pretty negative post in response to what you posted. I called this person out about his comments and because of who he is, the thread was completely deleted just minutes after my post. Out of respect for Jody, I am not going to say who posted or what my response was. I personally think the thread should have remained open and this person should have manned up and dealt with the situation. However, I have no idea what it takes to run a site like this and I am certainly not going to second guess Jody's decision to remove the thread.

Whenever a thread derails it's either closed or removed. It really doesn't matter who is involved. I removed it to think about whether to edit it, put it back as-is, or just leave it gone. Haven't made up my mind yet, been busy with other stuff today.
Gun rights are about as volatile to discuss as religion or politics. There are passionate people on both sides of the discussion. I don't want a thread to cause animosity between members, that's not what this site is for.

Jody's right, this is no place to cause problems between good friends, I have to apologize for touching such a delicate topic, I just needed some views according to some stuff that have happened around here. Anyway, I'm sorry ībout that, back to cars.

It's what I posted to Supersport that got the thread pulled. I own it and I stand behind my comments and views. Personally I too would like to see the thread stay open, but I support Jody in whatever course of action he takes. This is his site and I respect that.

You didn't do anything wrong my friend. No reason to be sorry. At the end of the day we all have that common thread that ties us together here. It's rare that we have disagreements and drama on this site.

I'll try to be a bit more PC. Moderate me if you need to, I totally understand.
