**********SOLD********

I have a offering and wanted to gauge your interest... Most know that we've been working on a 1970 TA project "Sleeping Beauty" that represents what I felt a reasonable person looking to build a nice entry level ""all round pro-touring car"",,, well the car is pretty much done.

http://i997.photobucket.com/albums/af93/projectwarpath/white%2070%20TA/frontleftsleeping_zps935f2932.jpg (http://s997.photobucket.com/user/projectwarpath/media/white%2070%20TA/frontleftsleeping_zps935f2932.jpg.html)

Now comes the interesting side of it,, how do I get the car out there for others to see given my current commitments for the up coming season???? I thought maybe someone here wants to showcase it at some events and purchase it at a reduced price consequently so here is the possible deal....

If someone wants to commit to attending 2 Good Guys Shows and one American Street Car Series event to promote the car (and concept of an interesting entry level build alternative) I will consider selling the car for only $35,000 USD... That is in my mind a ""smoking deal"" for a car that has been done from top to bottom and has zero miles on it. The new owner will have to finish a few little items off (ie. little cover clips on door handle straps, place ball on the shifter, hook up the door lock pals, install the back ordered rear license plate bracket etc)... If you think this is something you'd be interested in call me at 416-566-9660 or email [email protected]

Quick review of components that make the build up:
-1970 Trans Am
-Front panels and door skins built with Carbon Fiber
-Freshly and professionally built LS-1 (Kevin Millers old motor that was sent out for rebuild)
-T56 trans
-10 bolt possitrack 4 link rear end
-Single adjustable Ride Tech coil over shocks
-Ride tech Strong arms
-Smoothed sub frame
-New Wilwood package
-Rock valley tank
-Fresh interior coverings and headliner
-New zero mile BFG Sport Comp II tires
-Year one 17" honey combs
-New rad with fans
-New Paint
-Spear-tech harness

Well as you can see it's a pretty good bang for the buck and here are some other pic's to review...

I agree. That paint job, the stripe in particular, is super clean. What a car!

Great news, Albert. I'm glad to see this car nearing completion. It's right up my alley in terms of build style. I really think more people will be attracted to this level/style of a PT build as they see more fine examples such as this one

Thanks Trey,, playing with the idea of selling of a fresh White with Blue stripe 70TA roller I'm thinking of going ahead on too... Same strong arms, 4 link and Ride Tech coils etc... The car would have steel 73 steel fenders and a factory nose, Carbon hood and inner front wells,,,, but would be fresh painted and just not a finished car like sleeping beauty though... Might even offer an LS1 I have kicking around for it too depending on pricing of the package purchased if there is interest....

I hate to say it but you've got my interest, though, I may just be dreaming. I say start a post like this one and see what happens. It's your car so you certainly don't have to sell it if you don't get what you want for it. I can't imagine an early 2nd gen TA not garnering attention though regardless of current project state so long as the condition is good.
