Thought I'd share an event called "Tour Auto". It's run in the spirit of the original Tour de France (not the one with the steeroids and bicycles).
For perspective, I guess you could say the format is similar to events like Targa Newfoundland, only more limited in terms of allowable entries. Some of these participants are running multi-million dollar collectibles and hammering them across France. There's even a photo of a Gull Wing Mercedes and an Alfa having an "Off". It's nice to see super rare sports cars getting used. It's only paint. Enjoy!

Excellent eye candy there Steve.

But why did they purposely leave out the good cars...the Mustangs and Camaros?

The red one is Lancia Stratos, N/A 2.4L Ferrari V6.

You talking about Lancia 037, and it has just a blower, group -B Delta S4 has 2.0L R4 with blower and a turbo.

There is cool yankees, Galaxies, Daytonas. I cant say that Ac Cobra is a american, sence the body is English.

But here you see that they really (try) to drive them.

Yes Dan Gurney was very tall and when put his helmet on, the headroom wasn't up to par. So they made the bubble for him. I also like the fact that the guys in the GT40 have earphones on. No sound deadener on that bad boy!!
