I have read / searched so much about catch cans that I don't know what right or wrong anymore! :confused18:

Right now I have both valve covers vented (one from the front and the other from the back) to one catch peterson catch can.

Can anyone tell what the correct setup would be?

There is a ton of ways to skin a cat but for the most part it will boil down to how much crank case pressure you are putting out to help you decide what size lines and then what would be an astetically(spell check?) pleasing location for the can.

I'm currently processing how I am going to set mine up also. Post some pics of what you got going so far.

Here are some crappy pictures, I don't know if I should use two cans (one for either side) and do I need a vacuum line? I am told the way the shop installed this setup is not right as the can is down below the motor but then again thats just what I have been told so I don't know if it is right or wrong -- thanks for your help!

This post at LS1TECH seem to be the guide that most of the people which I've heard have followed:

Given the blower, I'm guessing you don't have the valley cover with the attachment point in it (I can't tell from the pictures). So I would guess that you would follow the LS1 routing.

Hope that helps some. You can look at the whole thread instead of the single post for a lot of discussion...

Definitely not a good spot for that can. You definitely want it above the motor but not much.....valve cover breather height would be fine. Any room on the fire wall?

Thanks! -- no I don't have an attachment with the valley cover, I looked at the diagrams with a blower setup do I use a vacuum line and/or PCV?

That's what I thought, I was thinking of putting the one from the Drivers side on the firewall and making a bracket for the one of the passenger side somewhere in front by the AC unit.
