I just read the recent post discussing Pro Touring car values. I would be very interested in hearing points of view on clones and thoughts around where that market is headed.
Cheers

well today most of the clones are better made and put togetter then factory the ride is better looking the handling smokes the old and power is killer if you watched the barret jackson and saw the dse camaro it sold for 148k try to get that amount for a origional z28 its not going to happen todays pro touring is on fire you get the looks of yesterday with todays technology and big horsepower  :omg:

you are comparing a pro touring modified car to a stock unmodified muscle car.there's a huge differnance,a friend of mine just bought restored 69 z/28 rs #'s match for $155,000
buying a pro touring car is like buying a street rod.there custom built,99% aftermarket parts, there is no comparing.
a clone of a original muscle car, will not bring the money a real car such as a 69 z28 will i have seen z28 clone's in the 50's where original z's bring 6 figures

Well Stuarts camaro wasn't a number matching car and it had aftermarket parts and it brought $150k at Barret Jackson.
No way to tell, you just need 2 people interested in the car and it will sell for good money.
